Orange is the new black!

Day 12 today and I'm matching my new Moschino coat with my Heure H watch. Ski conditions couldn't get any better here in Les 3 Vallées! Now stopping at Le Tremplin in 1850 for some bubbles - time to remortgage the house me thinks lol

Rosy cheeks and tan lines from his ski goggles ❤︎

Warming up with coffee and cognac!
- Nothing helps your skiing like a glass of brandy ;-)

There's no business like snow business!

Just when you thought ski conditions could not get much better in Courchevel, we had another few centimetres of snow yesterday, and then it was time to get your skis on and buy a full day pass!

A mountain of possibilities

So far we're six days in to our holiday boy this is exactly what we needed. .. A winter wonderland with scenery from a Christmas card.  It's a true escape from reality, this alpine French getaway with friends and family. And we still have another eight days left of skiing,  hiking, roaring fires, raclette and fondues with just a tad of champagne  ;-) - enough to make any girl happy I'd say!

Our latest bite of the Big Apple

Checking in with British Airways at Terminal 5 Heathrow

Getting comfy and preparing for the 7.5 hours flight
Touch down New York

Room request - high floor thank you very much

Manhattan pls

First night and hubby is already befriending some of the locals at The Penrose near our hotel
View form the hotel room

Bagatelle on my bday - this place gets crazy during weekends where people dance on the tables!

Andre Balaz's "The Standard Grill' belongs to Standard Hotel
Al fresco dining in Meatpacking district

Happy bunny to say the least

Top of the Standard - spectacular views! The bar is stunning too well worth a visit.

Ralph Lauren's newly opened restaurant "Polo Bar"

It was like stepping in to someones living room at first (spot the log fire!)

Classic American cuisine

New York through a glass at the Peninsula

We visited the Midtown roof top Salon De Ning bar last time too.

Room service!

Subway No 6 from North to South.
Messy hair, don't care!

Arrived downtown

Brooklyn Bridge

We couldn't have wished for better weather, boy we were so lucky!

We walked across the bridge and then got a cab to Williamsburg to Wythe Hotel for a drink on their roof top terrace.

ABC Kitchen - super trendy buzzy place near Union Square
We didn't get a table as we hadn't pre-booked, but we happily sat in the bar

Snacks and drinkies at The Mark Bar
At the Red Room club located right next to the Hudson River in Harlem with Esto and his friends

You can't go to New York without visiting a Kosher Deli and have fried chicken sandwich and pickles

You never tire of strolling around soaking up the atmosphere

Fresh food from the local store on Madison Avenue

Our stunning Manhattan hotel, The Mark.

Romance was in the air just like last time we went to New York. It does wonders for any couple to be child free for a few days ;-)

Our art deco bathroom which reminded me a lot about the bathrooms in Claridge's.

I might be holding a Pellegrino but sparkling water was certainly not my main drink over there lol

Upper East Side
